Inspired by the Japanese Ukiyo-E woodblock prints of the Floating World, Manila Ukiyo-E MANILA BLOOM captures the everyday flowers we Filipinos living in Manila often see but seldom appreciate. These are hand-painted art prints depicting the beauty that still blossoms in the city even with pollution and punishing climates. Beauty still blooms in the Philippines. Life not giving up their right to exist. Drawn and painted by marius black.
